BAYKO Adverts in 'EVERYBODYS' Magazine

I'm afraid that I don't know much about this magazine, not least because there were several versions over the years, but it was clearly aimed at both sexes, though I'm not sure how often they hit the target.

The BAYKO advert appears in the bottom left hand corner of the page, which contains an article entitled…

…“A Plain Man's Guide to Perfumes”…

…hardly patronising the mere male at all!

It certainly seems an odd juxtaposition to me!
