BAYKO in EGYPT

I currently have just one BAYKO document from the Egyptian market, however, I do also have a little personal information which demonstrates that there certainly was an active BAYKO market in Egypt.
I own a Retail Display Cabinet which was 'rescued' from a shop in Cairo as early as 1953
Apart from that clear evidence of an active Egyptian BAYKO market, I have just one further piece of information…

1951 - Plimpton Era Parts and Sets Price List

The reason for the query in the heading is that, although this document is printer's coded March, 1951, it refers to sets #3X [August, 1951] and #4 [February, 1952] which were not actually launched until the dates shown in brackets, even in the U.K., so there must be a slight question mark over the true printing date - or were these [then] new sets exported before they hit the U.K. market‽

The above document, dated March, 1951, is a straight copy of the domestic documentation of the same date with prices in Egyptian Pounds.
It is worthy of note that the only address quoted on this price list is Plimpton's in Liverpool. I think, therefore, that it is fair to assume that the toy stores in the Egyptian market were supplied directly from the U.K., not through an import agent.

If you have any information on the Egyptian BAYKO market then I'd love to hear from you…
